Do you keep camp upgrades when you change Camp Purpose?

As the titles suggests, wondering if you keep camp upgrades that require a specific purpose when you change the purpose. Wondering if it's worth it to change purpose to get some of the other ones and then change back.

Personally I never change focus of the camp.
Tbh I never change focus on the story I wish too tell and so every change I make is deliberate, with full knowledge of what that choice entails.

Interesting, thanks. Do the upgrades get removed or just disabled? My current character is in retirement, so to speak, so I was going to switch from the mercenaries to scholars, but would likely switch back to mercenaries when my heir takes over the camp. Wonder if I'll have to rebuild things.

They get completely removed and thus the investment you make is simply list, even if you make similar choices. That I know 4 sure.
