Best Wandering Noble
Is Daemon Targaryen from the AGOT mod. While El Cid is fun I dont think many campaigns in either vanilla or AGOT can compare with a wandering Daemon,

After winning the war in the stepstones (with RNG you can win 2 wars over it in a few months) you can choose to go back to the & kingdoms, playing as your brother who owns Blackstripe which you can give Daemon, switch to him and go wandering.

You have one of the most bad ass dragons of all time, a lover with a high Intrigue stat, an event which will allow you to duel for a marriage with Laena who has the most powerful dragon in the world, great stats and traits and Rhaena, who has a bunch of Dragon eggs, has a crush on you.

The choices you have are ridiculous. I dont think there is any other campaign that has so many options and a strong start, yet you still have to earn everything.

Don't use mods so can't comment on that part but in the base game, I like making Jarl Dyre an adventurer. Done that a bunch of times. The genius trait plus the 'travels of' journal means your subsequent characters fly through the perk trees. Wouldn't have said El Cid was the best in the base game. Won't pretend to have played them all but of the ones I've tried, would probably give the nod to Todor for the 11,000 men ish although starting in the 12th century as an adventurer's not ideal.
