I also have all the DLCs installed, and I remember that some provinces had buffs or debuffs tied to seasonal conditions (like harsher winters or droughts), which seemed to correlate with what was shown visually on the map.
Is it possible I'm just confusing it with a mod? I can't remember the name, but maybe it was adding those effects more vividly.
Just trying to figure out if what I saw was base game content or modded — because it definitely felt integrated.
Could you be thinking of Victoria 3 or even Imperator: Rome? I think both of them have dynamic effects
And sandstorms. And waves. Two kinds of birds if you count the plague indicators (unless those are VERY large flies).
Want the game to stutter/crawl? Put a sandstorm on screen.
hahahah ye... You're right — my bad! I was totally confusing it with Victoria 3.
I own almost every Paradox game at this point, so sometimes the mechanics start blending together in my head 😅
i have way more hours in Victoria 3, so that's probably why I got even more confused..
Sorry for the mix-up — wrong game, same level of obsession!
...btw , that said, I do think adding dynamic climate effects to CK3 would be an awesome feature — it could really enhance immersion and give certain regions a more unique strategic feel.
