If you add jizya status to their vassal contract and confirm it, then they should give +40% tax, -40% levies and have +20 opinion with you. Plus you'll no longer be able to convert them/their land or revoke their titles.
Also if you read the wiki, it still mentions special contract options for Clan vassals, like the Jizya or Ghazi contract. However, these features were moved to the Tax Collectors.
Why can't you revoke land with that?
Atleast if you have a valid reason to do so.

Arrest means you can send them to the dungeon to die.
Banish means they get deposed (though may re-inherit the same title sometimes)
Execute is obvious
Although revocation is often the best because you can re-roll the strategic cards within your realm and ideally get new, thankful vassals with proper de jure structure.
I meant more, of why it blocks revocations.
As if they're a known murderer, I should be able to revoke title.
Different faith shouldn't come into play here.
The idea is it's supposed to be like a safe haven for people of that religion. You could still imprison, banish, execute etc. the title holder, but those options should ensure their heir, who should still be their religion, gets the title so it stays within that religion.
I revoke from family too, if they done a crime.
