I was already a PDX skeptic, but I'm also a strategy game spender. I'm happy to shell out for good games and give studios 2nd chances..... except when the game literally doesnt even work.
Actually I harken back to I think christmas 2018 when Stellaris released a big update right before christmas, then the entire PDX studio went on vacation for like 6 weeks (because europe).
I was one of the modders who released a bugfix to make the game playable until PDX could get off their behinds, so I have hands-on experience of their low QA.
Sorry if this is not entirely on-topic to your thread, I got triggered and there are many other similar reports. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it. You can try the standard clean install.
1. Unsubscribe from all mods on steam
2. Uninstall the game on steam
3. Manually delete \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings 3
4. Manually delete \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings 3
5. Reinstall the game on steam
6. Verify integrity of the steam game
This is from memory and probably overkill, but check back in or do searches based on this as a starting point if it doesnt work.
