Where did my inventory items go?

As Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire, and Administrative in government, I just died and became the next elected Emperor. My Illustrious (purple outline) items didn't pass down, which was my crown and armor.

I checked the previous, now dead emperor's sons- they do not have the items. I checked the thrown room ... nope... They are just gone.

I'm thinking this is a bug? Thoughts?

There is an very high Chance, if someone inherits, who is not your Child or Grandchild, that the Artefacts gets destroyed instantly.

Would make more sense if at least court artifacts weren't pillaged by unknown marauders.

I don't think this applies to Admin gov type though - though I'm not sure.
