Help me against the Bubonic Plague
I restored the Roman Empire with my character. Shortly after the Bubonic Plague hit. That's alright i thought, diseases come and go. But It's ravaging through my empire for nearly 20 years now. I constantly get peasant uprisings because of the debuffs.
Can someone tell me how long that will last. Or how to get rid off it?
My excellent physician is doing the control plagues task, i built tons of disease resistance stuff in my counties and my estate- it's no use

You can raise your knights (including yourself and any heirs) and send them to sit off shore...lol You can fight your battles with your armies and 0 knights OR add knights you don't care about. You could call in some mercenaries....although IF I were a leader of mercs I wouldn't advertise my troops in plagued areas ;). Yea man, just ride it out. You can see on the zoomed out map when it starts breaking up. Breaks up rather quickly for such a large plague.

Did you restore Roman Empire with Byzantines and then decided to go Hellenic? Because it sounds like https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/developer-diary/dev-diary-155-the-shattered-empire.1701999/

You are experiencing "Roman Empire hard mode," which is enabled either by a bug or by choosing to go Hellenic when you enacted the Restore the Roman Empire decision. Let me know if you did NOT go Hellenic. I eventually figured out a way to disable hard mode by modding and can tell you how.

In any event, you can go back to "easy mode" by using the Cleave the Empire decision. This will create a new Eastern Roman Empire with the de jure territory of the Roman Empire. The rest of your realm will become the Western Roman Empire.
