Congenital Traits
Question about passing traits down to children.

For parents to children, I get it. However, if grandparents have traits (and it skipped the parents), could those children get the congenital traits? And great grandparents?

Thanks in advance!

Not directly, but in a sort of roundabout way. Afaik just having grandparents with the trait in itself doesn't add anything; however, some of those who were "skipped" might just not have the active trait, but still be carriers for it, so it speak, with a hidden inactive version. They still have a higher chance to have children with that trait, though not so high as someone with the live version.

quickest way to ensure traits continue down the line, marry kids to cousins/nephews (especially those with traits) + invest in the bloodline dynasty stuff

If only grandparents have congenital traits and both parents do not then the chance is 10%, if father himself has one and mother's parents do - the chance is 50%
for both parents having the trait the chance of getting it is 80%
without legacy perks

Thank you for the Guide. Very helpful. I was already aware of propagating with the bloodline stuff and marrying kids/nephews, so this link answered the mail. ;-)
