Matrilineal / Patrilineal
My dynasty has gotten very large, and I'm trying to figure out as I surf through the tree / characters ... if the marriage is matrilineal or patrilineal ... as it would determine how I Grant Titles. Want to keep them in the family, if you know what I mean.

How can I see if the marriage is Matrilineal or Patrilineal? I've made so many arranged marriages, both ways depending on congenital traits, etc.

Thanks in advance!

family members have claims. Keep family members in your castle or outside your realm.

Appreciate the response ... but I'm trying to see how to look at a character, and see if they were joined based on Matrilineal or Patrilineal marriage.

So...when you look at the couple. In the middle and towards the bottom of the portrait you will see 2 rings. Put your mouse over that AND it will say what type of marriage it is. Now the rings do have a distinct set up depending on the marriage but, you'll get used to it.
