Can I pass Legend related decisions to my heir ?

For exemple I'm about to complete a Protector of Holy site legend which grants a special decision allowing a second holy war in a lifetime. My current character is the beneficiary of the legend.
If this character doesn't get the opportunity to use it before dying, is the decision wasted or is it still available to his successor ?

The decisions are granted to the character who completes the Legend. If you complete the Legend, don't use the decisions, then die, the decisions are lost. However, if you die, inherit the Legend, then complete it, you will receive the decisions as normal.
