Might just be with the appropriate DLC, but whoever wrote the events did a pretty good job. I'm sure they will get stale after reading them repeatedly but I think they are better written than the Wards & Wardens events I paid for. :)

They definitely seem to be mechanically superior. My kids are always getting that playing outside event for a 50% chance of a free skill point, often multiple times per kid.
