A Game of Thrones Mod - Claim Liege's Title Scheme

In "normal" CK3 you could become claimant to your liege's title and start a faction with one of the stewardship perks. In the AGOT Mod I cannot choose the scheme eventhough I have said perk.

Only way to claim liege's title that I can use is to control most counties of the region. For obvious reasons this would be difficult to do if you want to usurp the Lord Paramount or King title. I like to climb up the ladder from the lowest position in my playthroughs but I do not know how to continue in this mod after usurping the High Lordship of my region.

Is that a bug or is some game rule preventing me from using the scheme? There's no explanation why I cannot use the scheme. Thank you for your help!

I like to start as a small count and work my way up too but I have never had to use the claim throne perk. Is the mod so different that it feels like a requirement to continue your growth and ascension?

The realm is more stable in the current state of the mod due to various reasons and it might take a longer time to become a "Lord Paramount"/King. Apart from that it feels similar to vanilla maybe a bit improved in some ways.

The perk was useful to usurp liege's title easily...I like to use it for RP reasons but maybe the mod will offer new interesting possibilitys in the future to ascent

It's an OP perk that shouldn't be in the base game. CK3 is way too easy.

I think it's very realistic. But it should be less easier to get and way harder to have success with the scheme

but it was like the first option in the tree, it should be the very last option in a tree even then it is still very strong

Yes, even as a last option it would be gamebreaking, in fact, there are plenty of gamebreaking perks that ruin the entire setting, the game, and the balance.
