Game development takes time.
You did not miss anything.
No big improvements so far.
The game currently uses at best 5% of its potential...
In fact, developers add more bugs and more cheating events. Now they want to add more silly nicknames. Traits mean nothing. You can have an honest, just and chaste daughter and she will still cheat as if she were lustful. Virtuous traits mean nothing.
There is no type of deterrence for criminal behaviour such as fornicator, adulterer and deviant behaviours. Developers don't care about fixing these issues. They care about nicknames, instead.
So no. There is no significant development for this game. I mean, just look at 1.8.1 update and look at how much they modified. Now look at how.much time they take to release a single little update. You'll notice that they take months just to reaslease at least one update.
They don't find our suggestions useful. Instead they call it useless and unproductive. So no. There is no development on CK3.
Words, nothing but words. Lots of chatter to appease the angry community. Announcements with no or vague dates in the future...
... maybe someone should tell the guys at Paradox that our lifetimes are limited.
Exactly. Nothing but words and no date periods.
I am sorry but i have to ask dannyvader007 how do you feel for love & lust event pack? warm & fuzzy or something else...
If you want angry I'd look at the past EU4 community who got angry because of absolute garbage and exploitative DLC. And since the vibe in this thread is "their updates are ♥♥♥♥ just like their previous ones" then I don't really get why people are so eager for them to release more?
starting to remind me of Imperator Rome, where the said they would "take a break" at first
There you go. More lust and love to make your wife cheat on you and give you kids that aren't yours. This game doesn't need more lust. It has tons of lust. Chaste characters are lustful, too. So why add more lust???
The game is full of bastard and secret bastards, it's ridiculous. The AI just knows how to cheat but it doesn't know how to help you in a war or to promote culture. Your vassals do nothing but cheat and seduce your daughters and sons. You can't make them handle Imperial matters like promoting different cultures, creating silk roads that last, launching campaigns to invade other lands without going to war for land.
Vassals don't act like vassals. They act like they are your liege and almost everytime they pay tribute or homage to you as their liege, your daughters and sons end up being seduced for no reason.
This game doesn't need any more lust.
However, if that's what you are about, I won't argue with you because you might like lust and you might like it when your spouse cheats on you and gives you secret bastards.
I am sorry i got you riled up. But i agree game doesn't need more seduction it needs more refined and subtle seduction instead of this version mass mayor/cuckoo trying to lay egg in your nest in every minute.
I am hoping if love & lust is next event pack it reduces that mass mayor spam changing to more realism. And hoping that soulmate would mean something.
I've played a lot of CK III and did "Fate of Iberia" for the first time. It was absolutely the best fun I had in CK III.
They are asking for us to pick between three absolutely awful options.
They're NOT asking for feedback.
They've ignored plenty of that already.
The majority of players are opposed to event packs, but they categorically dismiss all criticism, valid or not, in favor of only listening to yes-men that validate their decisions.
If they want feedback, they could start by looking at the reviews for the DLC's they've already released, both positive AND negative. But they DON'T want that.
They want to make you think you had an actual impact on what they've already decided to do in order to increase sales.
