Mass "Have child learn language"?
Hello there,

I began a new game with a mullawadi faction. 160 years later I got around 300 hundred living family members. Almost half of them r children. It's a little tedious to go one by one in the family tree making them study.

And that takes me to the point of this post. A mass "Have child study language" decision where all children over 6 study a language could come in handy.

Thanks, and keep up the great job. :D

just switch your court language, they'll all learn it. I usually hybridize my culture and take on the language of the locals of wherever I conquered.

Yeah but arabic is the most prestigious language in my game and I don't wanna change it hahaha

Does it matter if they don't study a language? Most adults will learn their spouse's language, and other things affect characters learning the language of their liege.

The only ones that really benefit most of the time are going to be you own heirs. I'd just let everyone else learn what the AI wants them to

There's a mod that lets you set your official court languages (A primary, A secondary, and a Tertiary). By doing so it will cause your lolis to attempt to learn all three. It also allows you to choose whether they learn passively or actively (passively has a lower chance to learn all three, while actively they learn easier but cause stress. To be honest I always use passive and essentially all my lolis are polyglots.) It's called "Multilingual Education"

If you have the kids learn languages it makes them better at certain court roles. If they know the language of the people in the land you give them to rule then they will get fewer penalties. If they know their spouse's language before being married then they will have kids sooner - this matters in the case of an older girl who is ~35 years old.

If they become a tutor then you also always have someone on hand that can teach five useful languages.

Sure, but does that really necessitate manually assigning languages to upwards of 100 children like the OP is doing?

The thing is I'm spending money every month on this tutor. I would like to give him/her some use. And knowing this game, u never know who can end up being ur heir xD

I also got a big multicultural empire and some of those children will rule somewhere someday and I would like to give them the best possible education so my realm will thrive. I hate when I have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ powerful vassals. (Yeah, fancy old nepotism hahaha) Even if known languages doesn't affect stats... Idk, it's just a quality of life improvement. Just as a mass "demand conversion" decision would be.

About the mods, I will keep this one in mind, so thanks :D But I'm trying to get some achievements for this is my first serious gameplay with royal court.
