thank you that worked, i thought it did not apply to clan government types and only worked for christian realms. thanks.
If I recall correctly, it's mostly (or exclusively) in Muslim / Turkic / Siberian regions because they often tended to name their states in the middle ages after powerful families or clans (hence "Clan" government type)
It does not work like that. You can edit the "title" name as much as you want but game reverts it back to your dynasty / house name.
