Yea why whine about it? Just wait for the first expansion and see. I always just wait for the first discount on each dlc, unless it's something I really want.
This time I am considering the expansion pass though, as I am really enjoying this game. Though I find it odd it's $34, I already paid $50. So the new DLCs are going to cost $30 this time around? Ouch if so. I like the game, but that is getting way expensive. At least AAA games tend to include the first year of expansions with the full package. That's also not counting the fact the dlc's are hardly an actual expansion, but this is for another topic sorry.
You could save face and use it on dental work, according to your profile picture you may be in need.
This yes I do agree would be a better marketing sell.
Look I will level with you either buy into the DLC's Paradox will offer right away or wait until they've been out a while and get them as a bundled lot for sale. Alternatively do not get any because you dislike the game but if you do like the game these are your options.
Good luck OP
Not whining, just asking. But you raise a good point - you say 'we should just wait'. Well I don't want to wait - I kinda want to know - if they are brave enough to ask for our money why should we not be brave enough to ask why?
Come on people - get a hold of you balls and become a Man
Like I understand for some people 35 bucks is a crapton of money (The flavor packs are usually around 8 bucks anyway), when I was in college it was like whoa 35 bucks. But when you get a little older its just kinda meh. Like whats 8 dollars? I mean you go out for sushi and will cost you like 80+ bucks for two people with drinks and everything. I just crap that out the next morning. Compared to other hobbies gaming is cheap. I have like 10 grand+ in electric skateboards now and I dont use those near as much as I play games.
Its each to his own. I mean you go to work each day, you decide how you spend your money. Some people will drop 100 grand on a car. If you dont want/cant afford the flavor packs dont buy the flavor packs.
Good for you. Not everyone can afford it. Get off your high horse buddy. Who the F pays $80 for Sushi lmao? I can understand people struggling, and especially during the Pandemic...
What an arrogant person.
Nice sushi places are expensive. You just need to stop assuming everyone is broke. I mean where is it your prerogative to tell others how they should spend their money?
You didnt go to work and make my money.
My point is more 90% of other hobbies are going to be way more expensive than gaming. I mean almost anything, snowboarding, guitars, cars, boats (Good god, boats are a money sink). Its whatever brings people pleasure.
Well that depends honestly. I spend quite a bit on my PC's, and gaming lol. I am not telling anyone how to spend their money so I am not sure where you got that from. I was just meaning to show some empathy. Not everyone(nor most honestly currently) can afford to eat $80 sushi, or buy $100k cars lmao. We have our own bills, and life circumstances.
I was talking to op, but ya I mean I dont have a 100k car. Im just not really into that sort of thing. Its more you dont see people running around saying "OMG WTF why did you drop 100 grand on a car. It should cost 30 grand. You are an idiot"
If its what you love buy it. Its your money you worked for, its up to you how you spend it. (Well unless you cant really afford it, but thats another topic. Its not like you are getting a loan to pay for ck2 flavor packs.)
I cant tell you how many paradox games Ive bought all the DLC for but hardly play.
Pretty damn arrogant, if not borderline narcissist, to come blabber here how much money you have.
You get more broken god modes, a little variety added to some culture/faction, and some sims wardrobe stuff. Totally not worth it when considering what a piece of garbage the game is.
I hope you have learned a lesson but I fear you have failed to learn the most important lesson, namely that it is YOU who are responsible for your impulsiveness and your anger is misplaced. It is YOU who you should be reproaching.
The OP is not complaining about flavour packs but rather the fact that we're being offered them to buy without knowing what we're getting. If anyone, ANYONE, is not sure about purchasing the season pass in advance, especially if they do not know what they are buying, they should NOT buy this season pass.
There are no reasons any of us can provide to help anyone make that decision. It is a personal decision and it is up to each one of us to determine for ourselves what to do and, most importantly, to accept responsibility for our own decisions.
I bought them all for CK2 so, I got the Royal Edition for CK3.
I didn't get the Royal Edition for this reason. Just wait and see.
