The Story of young Scotland, or the Kingdom of Alba in 897. The Default King of Alba used murder and intrigue to keep the Vikings at bay and his land terrified. His brother, was the Duke of Muray and his heir was the King - so naturally, the king's brother died when he drank a glass full of poison leaving his only heir (the King) in charge of his puny realm.

From there, the Vikings pushed on all sides until finally the powerful Viking of the The Isle, King Ivar had MULTIPLE children. His mistake, because within months of discovering he had multiple boys his heart was stabbed by a knife from an unknown assassin (I am clearly a good Catholic and not a murderer). The reign of the original king of Alba was long, and his son decided that he could not wait to be King to have a "kid" and had a "Bastard" son called, "Starkiller."

As King, the second king of Alba, married and had 1 lawful son and 2 daughters. The daughters were quickly married off to secure alliances that would help for my next phase: expansion to the south - into Viking Lands of England. I did my best to retake land from the Vikings. Sometimes I had to surrender, but it was going smooth until I died of natural causes.

My lawful son assured the people of Alba and the world that it was due to my advance age of 60. I took over, as the new heir, the third King of Alba, and fathered a single son and no daughters. Sadly my wife had an "accident" and my next wife was too old to have children. With a single heir in place, The second king of Alba took over land and spent his gold and powers to upgrade his land.


The third King of Alba was blood thirsty, but was honest and just and gave a dutchy title and land to his half BASTARD son, Starkiller. Starkiller became a vassal and created his own cadet blood line. The third King of Alba was an honest guy and the stress of murdering people... i mean importing poisons from all over the world ... made him over eat in feasts and eventually he died.

Before that, he - The third king of Alba - used piety to change the First Crusades to attack the Vikings in England. He name his first born daughter (the only child of age) as Queen Warrior and she led the forces to defeat the Vikings and form a united England. Within 10 years it fell apart, though. I continued playing King of Alba (the Scotland people). As the world rebuilt from the devastating crusades, I captured and forced Ireland to bend the knee. My wife had 2 sons and another daughter. Whoops. Luckily, I had a single Kingdom and did not form the kingdom of Ireland yet. (it was just a collection of Dutchies.)

After expanding soutthwards, i wiped out most of the Viking threat that was holding the middle of England. However, my sister, the Queen of England failed to hold onto the kingdom of England and the Vikings was eating her land to the South. Fearing death, I set up my sons to lead the charge. Schug and DataWang, my 2 heirs. Schug was the eldest and was nominated to lead and DataWang had martial abilities and was my Champion in the field and took charge of the my army.

Then I died, and King Schug took over. He was the 4th king of Alba.

Schug got the armies ready and had an early son, Primus. After going to a quick trip to the Holy Land, Schug had enough piety to declare a Holy War and conquer an entire kingdom in the heart of Britain. 3 days into his war and about 2 years into his reign... Schug ate the wrong pie and died. His brother and general, DataWang, took over (even though Primus was his son - DataWang had the votes to be heir until Primus was older).

Without missing a beat, DataWang became the 5th King of Alba and discovered spiders in Primus' bed. His nephew and, and true heir of the throne, Primus. died from spider bites. DataWang took over as the 5th King of Alba and his reign was long. His kingsdom AND Vassals expanded into the world.

His vassals took over land near Holland, took over Iceland, somehow. Some of his vassals took land in present day France and Spain and Poland as well. None of those lands were conquered by me or had me help them out ... i guess i really picked aggressive vassals that used up my land properly.

King DataWang made no attempts to take land in europe and he used his free time to build up the lands within Alba and forming ireland, as a kingdom and then conquering most of the English side of Britain and formed the Kingdom of Britain with Scotland firmly at the helm. However, the south side of the classic British Isle, Wales, Wessex, London, etc was devastated from constant raiding and attacks. King DataWang did everything he could to secure reinforce the land and prevent it from falling to external threats. However, with low control and constant raids from years past... the small rebellions would spring up from time to time and threatened to undo the entire realm.

His sister was the former queen of England and the AI did a terrible job in securing England, she lost most of it and it was devastated. The Second Crusades Started and this time, I used DataWang's piety to attack the infidels of West Francia. They adopted some weird religion and were much closer than the true Holy Lands.

My eldest child was a daughter and she took charge of the crusades and she became the queen of France. King DataWang was still trying to shore up defenses and secure the Large Britain land islands to not care about Europe. He spent the last half of his career taking county or Dutchies from the Vikings or the failed English empire and sadly, CONTROL seemed to be his biggest problem. The country had rioters and rebellions - that came often.

King DataWang led a LONG life and ruled for 70 years. He switched from murder to "sway" and "befriend" most of his vassals and people. By the end of his life, he was loved - even though he started off with murder and subterfuge to secure the thrown, initially.

He was holding a feast to get rid of some if the stress when he... died IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FEAST.

Luckily, he did have 2 sons... one was nominated and was of age to become king of Britain (proper) and the other son became a vassal and king of Ireland. Mordicain I became the newest King of Britain and took over King of Alba as well, but his brother, WidowHawk, took over the King of Ireland - but, as was mentioned, the vassal to King Mordicain I.

I just wanted to share to story of how my King died during a FEAST... sorry for being long winded. FUN GAME :)

Let me explain it got King Caus III killed during his meal by King Schug who also died by meal during a holy crusade. HOLY SHEET
