How to change from confederate partition to proper partition?
I have two empires. I want to destroy my second empire. How do I make sure my vassals/heirs wont make another empire after I die?

Year 1200 is only required for primogeniture.

gonna spoil thing, De jure county hold < like empire some empire require 40-95 (example 95) you gonna find 1 vassal who have 2 or 3 county holding, and grant independence, so when your king dead
Succession think you didnt own 2 empire titles but only 1 so your empire wont be divide
It lot easier to invade 1 duchy instead 1 empire (even you have claim, i prefer let empire alone until some random house take throne, i invade them)

So the reason I cant destroy my title yet is because I need to make my vassals independent? So if I want to destroy my Brittania Empire Title, I need to make the vassaals independent?

You can destroy Empire title but when your king dead the title still create even you already destroy it
so pretty useless it called "destroy" i like "remove temporarily"
Grant vassal independence is like bypass so your empire wont divide when your king dead but sacrifice some land to greatest purpose

Remove temporarily = destroy title
Grand vassal independence inside Britannia Territory = create empire title button grey = No empire title create upon succession

With confederate partition, your heirs will automatically create new titles to split your lands as needed. If you have 2 empire titles and destroy one, your heirs will still recreate it when you die if you still control enough de jure land of that empire to create the empire title. If you give away enough of that empire by granting independence to, let's say, 20% of the vassals AND destroy the title - then your heirs will split your land, but your primary heir will still be the liege over all of it.

If you unlock the one of the innovations in the early medieval tech age - you can unlock straight partition (and make it the law of your land) - doing this means you only need to destroy one of the empire titles to keep your land together because your heirs will no longer create new titles when splitting your land. 1 empire will now mean only one person can inherit the empire-tier title.
