Yeah that much I understand, i just find it really annyoing how I've practically destroyed the muslim world, but because of my vassals constantly adopting the arabic court language, it maintains a larger pull than mine. Even if i replace the kingdom tier vassals with someone from my culture, they instantly adopt arabic... No joke, all the substansial contributors to the arabic language grandeure are vassals of mine... There should be an option to ban a court language from your realm, a feudal contract to force their court language, or simply an option to demand the change like you can with religion.

Influencing your own court language isn't the issue though. It's spreading your own to other courts, which it the requirement for the lingua franca achievement. Currently it seems impossible to achieve, as you have little to no way of influencing both the court languages of your vassals, and other kingdoms alike. The grandeure bonus doesn't seem to impact what they choose. I've revoked the title of my french vassal several times and replaced him with a new one, but every time they adopt the french language, despite it having no grandeure bonus, and mine having 15+
