Game crashes when I open my royal court

So I finally create the Kingdom of England and I get my Royal Court...nice, right?

Nope

Once I make my first decision in said court the game crashes...

I've reloaded 3 time, waited to make my kingdom...waited to hold court...doesn't matter. When I finally hold court and try to make my 1st decision the game crashes.

Anyone else having this problem?

I don´t know why but my game crash sometime by autosaving or when a event started

You are lucky. My computer can't even play that expansion. It crashes on the splash screen if it's enabled. I disabled it and now I can play the game just as I could before.

I posted about that, but that doesn't actually work 100 percent of the time. You may have to bite the bullet and disable the DLC like I had to. Verifying the game files only tells you that the files are downloaded and not broken on your hard drive. It doesn't actually do more than fix those broken links if there are any. If there are not, the steps get a lot more time consuming.

Like deleting the folder in steam, unsubscribing to all mods, and reinstalling fresh. If that doesn't work, you probably are in the same boat I am. I can't use the Royal Court DLC so far, and there has been no solution in this forum that has worked. I'll keep trying because i like playing this game and I got this DLC.

I missed one step. Disabling beta versions for the update. It works now. I was on the first crashing post and I missed it until today. I hope it helps if you need to go through the same steps.

Update all your drivers, disable all mods and make a new game.

If none of those work, reinstall windows.

Maybe re-install the game first, before reformatting your OS.

all mods disabled anyway. reloaded game and had luck until trying to play it today.
Why and how would reinstalling windows work? Just curious.
