Sultanate of Rum?
Why can't I access the decision to form the sultanate of rum as an emperor? I just invaded the Byzantine empire as a muslim emperor with the intent to then form the sultanate of rum, and after a long war I'm a bit disappointed

I can't even destroy my own empire title to be able to access the decision

Your capital needs to be in Asia Minor.

You can never destroy your primary title, which means you can never demote yourself (go from an emperor to a king, for example). If you really want to get rid of that emperor title, you need to let someone get enough territory and usurp the title from you.

I just got this achievement.

- You have to be an independent king, but NOT an emperor.
- Your religion is Asarii
- You control the necessary territories
- Your capital is Somosta (it's important)

I made the mistake I moved my capital elswhere, plus, when crusade wins, they take it from me to form kingdom of Syria. When I moved my capital back and become independent the decision came back.

Put it on elective, elect someone not from your dynasty, break free via revolt.

Muslims don't have elective laws
