The Wound trait doesn't seem to go away
So I've been playing Ivar the boneless for quite a while now. In 876, he fell from his horse and got the wound trait. Now we have 881 and he still got it.

I wanted to ask if this is a bug or if the wound trait disappears some day ?

Some times it can take very long time. I wager there is monthly check and having court physician makes you recover faster. Another is sick i have seen it in couple time to last from 16 year old to death. I think it just bugs and don't end.

Was it a severe wound? Those take a long time to heal and might even lead to them not recovering. But it probably started as a severe wound (or whatever they call it) and has now changed to a normal wound. One of my character's daughters got seriously injured at a peer gathering. She was around 8, but didn't fully recover until she was nearly an adult.

My wounded traits almost always go away instantly if I have a court physician of any skill at all. What I've noticed is that wounds almost never result in the scarred trait, unlike in CK2.

Kick physician out and start whipping yourself scarred trait is one of the less common traits.

Are you using mods? I’ve had wounds that never go away when using certain mods.
