Almost every game I've done recently they push into northern Germany - but it's not too bad, just ugly.
AI controlled Empire of Britannia owned all of the Spain, Britannia, Francia and central Europe.
AI controlled Empire of Mali owned all of the southern Africa, Abyssinia and Arabia.
And me Emperor of Baleo-tyrrhania owning Sardinia, Krete, Sicily, Hellania, Agean Islands, Egypt, Jerusalem and all land of the empire of Maghreb (Northern coast of Africa).
Feeling so tiny compared to all AI blobbing Empires. Still had the largest army, 3 million in the bank, 3k gold income/month and laugh when ai Mali had hard on, oogling my lands declared war and gets slapped around every time.
Conqueror + Administrative AI sure knows how to blob (just like good old times with the blue blob).
Oh i did not know about that, cool. Can the player somehow get that ♥♥♥♥?
Yup. It's a decision for landless adventurers ('Become a Great Conqueror' I think it's called) and you can randomly get it as a Duke/Count with the chance being increased if you do conqueror-ish stuff. EDIT: Oh also some characters start with it like Salah ad-Din. EDIT 2: My bad, it's Duke+ (so Dukes, Kings and Emperors). Got that one backwards. Appreciations for the correction Monsieur M.
It is also inheritable. If you have a high intrigue ruler, I recommend assassinations down the entire succession line until you see the trait end.
Pretty sure you can get it as king as well. Not sure about Emperor
Do you by chance know if the inheritor needs to be an adult? I feel like i noticed a lot of Conqueror nations dying when a child took over
Edit; forgot to add, i always start those games as a high martial character and pump points into martial. that might have an effect, both on the conquering and the eligibility for the trait.
My bad, it's equal to or greater than Duke so no Counts. Children can't inherit it seemingly. Your other main ways to lose it seem to be losing wars, not being an independent ruler and being at peace for too long. Although it's not really possible to get the conqueror AI to do the last one so that's more for the player I think and from my very anecdotal testing waiting for an old ruler to die (who just would not f'n die), it seems to be one war every 4 or 5 years to avoid losing it.
Usually if the AI becomes Conqueror it eventually loses that trait when a child takes the throne. With elective this is very unlikely since the AI usually votes for adults, thus they keep the trait longer.

After checking twice, i feel like this one is even bigger lol
Like I do king of norway runs and sweden in the earlies start can be a real pain the ass. Like I own 12 out of 16 and there is 2 left not owned by me or Sweden they pushing stupid hard into norway in my current save and I am gonna have to go on a raiding spree to hire merks and subjicate them at this rate. But honestly I do that I have most what I need to create the empire... I just have to buy the norway king title, and then there is little bit of land not owned by norse I might have to mess with. Like again if you play aggressivly and AI can do it you can get really really mean norse empires.
Like they are always a pain in your ass if you do viking age and live near water or them you see one the kings will expand like crazy out no where they get extra gumption one generation. You see denmark or sweden swall up the land, and start snowballing hard.
