Contracts are broken

So I sign up with the King of France to Mediate on Behalf of... Of course that means travelling across a giant sprawling blob, so I take my camp. I run out of food just before the 2nd holding, so I stop the current travel and pull over in the next barony over. I spend 150g on food so as to continue the contract. And then... nothing. No way to resume the contract. Nothing in the action items, no indicators in the contract itself as to which counties I was suppose to go to, contract is still active it's just completely broken now and I'm hunt and peck for the baronies with the specific debuffs related to the contract, if those are even visible? It's awful.

I found this with a nearly identical issue. Ran out of food and got an option to stop. I did and restocked. Now the only option I see is to abandon the contract.
