Roads to Power for non-Unlanded and non-Byzantine Play?
Simple question. If you play as a non-Byzantine landed noble does this DLC make any difference?

Yes it adds things for all nations, I can't point them all out because I went straight to Byzantine. The scheming and such is completely new for instance. All new stuff to play with.

Redone schemes is the free update stuff, but from what I understand the new administrative government can be a government upgrade of multiple areas instead of just Byzantine (this may be an option thing; the DLC and patch genuinely just launched so I do not know all the small details). Also, co-emperors, allowing you to throne a chosen heir so long as you are willing to share power.

Plus simple things like new artifacts, chariot racing activity, new dynasty legacies, new men at arms, new map table, new cosmetics, etc.

Ah that makes sense actually since the game would probably not work for non-DLC with new scheming.

One big new thing is the new start date. Plus as others mentioned free scheme rework and you can turn normal empires into administrative empires (does cost ressources etc though)

Co ruling, vassal directives, choosing a new destiny upon death, conquerors, and hold court got a decent touch up in the update. I too wanted to start a normal feudal run but landless was just too good to pass up lol
