I made this mod to allow adventurers to press any claims, so if your children / followers have a claim you can press it. But again, with being landless, that's very situational.

I may have a look into it when I have time because being a landless adventurer should be great for RP, but right now it's just a contract clicking simulator.
It may be possible to give one or more to children (not your heir) before you become an adventurer, not sure as I've no children to test it with. Certainly possible to grant them independence and they would be landed. The other thing is give them to older single lords as you will become the heir to the county until they have a kid and they wont have a kid. There is an option that lets your main say no to inheritance, not sure who would become the heir after selecting that, if the game passes it onto your family or a random npc.
Only other thing I can think off at this time. Though you would need to either start out with children or play landed a bit before hand.
Edit, I just done a quick test, started out with two sons and two counties, heir is heir to the primary, granted the second son the second county and made him independent then went to adventurer, I am now an adventurer next to my landed sons county on day one. So this method definitely works and only requires a second child. Trouble now is my heir is also heir to the county because my second son doesn't have a child, that might mess up the game if the son dies before having a kid, best case to have him betrothed/married before hand. Depending on what age you're starting out at etc.
