Switched to adventurer via switch character menu and it stucked at visiting settlements

I have this bug too since yesterday, please tell me if there is a way to get out of it.

If you raise your army and put yourself as the leader, that should free you from the event.

I got all excited that there might be a fix for it so I fired up the game for the first time in a week. Tried that. Didn't work. But it was nice to think that it might. Thank you for the idea.
