That's just bonkers. It's pointless building anything, when I can't actually do any of the things which they supposedly allow...
There are two triggers for Scout for Talent travel option.
You need to be an Adventurer.
You cannot have the Talent Scout perk. (The perk always applies Scout for Talent making the option redundant.)
Of the two I would find it more likely you've grabbed the perk without fully registering the implications and being confused about why the travel option locked up.
So, do you have the perk?
The baggage train is not required to Scout for Talent, it does provide bonuses.
I found an old bug report online from a few months ago, where a guy had a similar problem to me way back in March 2024. He didn't have the Tours and Tournaments DLC, but he did have a later one which allowed different intents. He seemed to think that the problem was that if you don't have T&T DLC enabled, then the way the game coding works it that it forces you to choose "Recreation" as the intent. This is obviously a problem, because for any later DLCs, you ought to be able to use any of the new intents that come with that new DLC.
Are you able to disable T&T, and then see if that then causes you to have the same problem I have. In that you can select "Fireside Chat", but you can't click "start camp revelry"?
If that is the problem, then the Devs have been aware of this issue for months...
