Game over screen when picking choose a new destiny

does anyone know why the game autofails for me whenever i pick to play as my favorite son? (i want to become wanderer again). it worked last night and i played as him before a reload... under the same circumstances. The only difference now is I pumped him full of artifacts and gold before dying

i thought it might be because he was heir to some titles under admin but even making him fall from next heir slot it still game overs. for some reason his wanderer camp becomes feudal and game overs as if my dynasty died out. no mods
