Restore Roman Empire mechanics missing
Started as Haesteinn, became conqueror, hybridized Lombard and Norse cultures, took the restore roman empire decision but I didn't get the choice of going hard mode or not. What gives?

Pretty sure the "Justinian's Dream Realized" event is only for forming Rome as Byzantium. Given you hybridized with Lombard culture, I imagine you went the Empire of Italia route instead.

I read how you form Rome effects it's banner.

Does Rome get the classic Red Banners no matter what? or whats the difference?

That decision is only availybe if you reform the RE with a character that both has a culture with east roman heritage and the Byzantine Empire as main title. Everyone else gets the "old" version of the decision.

Unfortunately that's still bugged so it defaults to giving you the hard mode without any of the boni.

The latest patch fixes that last issue (supposedly, haven’t had the time to try it).
