I hate how conquerors are hard coded to spawn day 1 next to you

I understand how the dev wanted people to stop using custom caracter but it completly broke historical start
Like since the update i didn't manage to get a single struggle for iberia/england go right without a conqueror ruining everything
Not even in the " oh its to hard sens " in the it broke the game sens, it simply did

1. Skill issue.
2. Conquerors are temporary, if you can't take one on in open war (skill issue), just wait them out.
3. Change the "Conquerors" game rule if you don't like the vanilla setting.

but by then its to late and the event is brocken, by the time their gone the karling feud is over by example

have never really one spawning next to me tbh , most of the times they spawn in diff area's of the world had 1 in mongolia ,1 in scandanavy and now atm 1 in alba

They actually seem to follow the player. I started as a count in Scandinavia, England became the conqueror immediately and conquered all Denmark. I barely saved Sweden by subjugating it.
Our favorite viking also got Conqueror, got himself Badajoz, and then spread it all over Baltic (he died at 102 btw).
As soon as i started getting Finland, Russia also got conqueror and started gobbing it up too. I barely got enough land to form Scandinavia.
So i switched to adventuring and left for Africa. As soon as i got one of the Ajuraan kingdoms, the nearest duke immediately became conqueror and started messing all my new empire plans. He was no match for vikings tho, so i got my chievo, but constant conquerors as every neighbor was kinda annoying.
