Defender Controls War Target

I've been stuck in this war for a while now, maybe i'm just blind or missing something but i feel like i should have won by now.

seems like the game is giving a warscore to the defender for controlling the war targets even though they are under my occupation.

To my understanding, i started a De Jure War for the following provinces:
Wilayah of Arawan
Wilayah of Tirakka
Bishophric of Timbuktu

They are all under my occupation and i've even occupied the enemy capital, but the war is dragging on because the game says the defender controls the war target.

I'd like to think im just missing something and need a second set of eyes to point out the issue. i have screenshots that i'm going to try to post

In the Abyssinian de jure war u have to take over the whole Abyssinian title. Im pretty confident that if u go and capture that whole de jure kingdom title ull get the Win! That or the game is bugged the classic

Did you use the general de jure war CB that is for all of your de jure titles controlled by them rather than just a specific one? Because that CB is indeed bugged and paradox knows it. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/de-jure-war-gives-ticking-warscore-loss-even-after-occupying-objective-counties.1706890/. If you manage to capture the war leader you automatically win anyways though.

That must be the issue. I think I used the CB that gives me all the titles they have that are de jure to me. Which are the ones I’m currently occupying.

I forgot capturing the leader was pretty much an instant win. I’ll just try hunting him down.
