Inheriting Great Conqueror trait is OP.
My 16 year old son inherited a high kingdom from his father, who carved it out of competing kingdoms after becoming a landed adventurer and dying at a ripe age of 99.

I gotta say, new mechanics are pretty neat - co-monarch, and favourite child, since it was an oddly bloodless transition despite there being 5 sons and confederate partition. I also spent a lot of time becoming friends with almost every elector.

But I digress.

My heir also inherited "great conqueror" trait, which is hella convenient (nice land you got there, neighbour), but also does not make sense I think. The trait works well as a very powerful prize and is justified when you've spend time grinding for conditions to gain the trait as a landless adventurer. It basically took me from 16 to 64 (almost IRL it felt like) to land with that trait, and I dare guess that's probably the average time it takes to get that trait.

My 16 yo inherited powerful and varied MAAs that his father collected through his travels, and with cost free CB and warmonger tenet the high kingdom will blob out at whatever the faster than light speed they're telling us the universe is expanding now. I'm not complaining, but inheriting "great conqueror" is OP. Like I said, he already inherited a large stable realm with powerful military. Taking on OP on top of it feels game breaking. It also somewhat diminishes the effort it took my original character to get the trait under what I thought was a once-in-a-lifetime situation.

The new landless adventurers mechanics are really cool and I almost thought I would only play this one character to RP and then call it quits. But now? Will I now ignore my own reservations and use this to repaint the map? Yes, yes I will.

You can turn off trait inheritance for conquerors under the game rules.
