Wrong player heir?
Hello,

I have a problem with my current game. I think I've understood how the succession of my titles works, and my son ("Prince Jayasimha") will inherit my kingdom, so everything's fine on this side.

But on the other hand, I don't understand why my player heir ("Géraud de Serrant", who, if I'm not mistaken, is the character I'll be playing when my current one dies) is another (much more distant) member of my family.

Please can you tell me how can I fix it?

I am guessing one of YOUR titles has an elective succession. AND you can look at that particular (or more) title(s) and see who's voting for who AND you can remove the elective succession. ALSO...

You have ultimogeniture...I haven't used that one, does that say the house eldest inherits? Well, if that's the case you can remove/change that succession IF all the people who matter agree with you.

Lastly...When I play an empire, I almost always pick a really great duchy and make it my primary AND add a succession rule to it (lil tougher to do if you're a clan (but possible)).

Hey good luck! I love Egypt, some really great lush counties to run.

Hey, thank you for your answer!

None of my titles has elective sucession, they're all ultimogeniture (the youngest child herits). The only different succession I have is my family title, and I think my problem comes from here, because I see that "Géraud de Serrant" is the first to appear in the line of succession (screen below). The problem is it seems there is no way to change the succession law of my family..

Well, I've never seen this set up before. Hope it all gets figured out. Just some thoughts in case you didn't know (I suspect you do). Doesn't noble succession come from Legacy? Dunno how that would get turned off (hell don't even know the mechanics). For Succession, I usually manage this by the succession tab and change the (general) succession. For titles, obviously from the title itself.

If you figure out how that noble succession stuff works, I wouldn't mind hearing about it. Ill check back :)
You can try setting him up as your Co-Regent (if you are getting close to death) and see if that changes something.
