In the Workshop Discussion Sub Forum ask and post your current load order. Somebody might help there. If your load is 50+ mods though...

Each mod you are using has a page and a comment section in the Workshop. If you read both of those they will usually mention if load order is important AND where they should be in that load order.

Ah, you've been more cynical with me.

Just give up on gameplay mods. This is a disaster, a big mess. I've found two playsets (one has been updated recently, just days ago) and they don't work. I always played games like Crusader Kings II, Stellaris, and Cities: Skylines, and I can tell you, mod cycles exist. Mods get deprecated, someone else picks them up to maintain them for a while, then the mod gets dropped again. But Crusader Kings III is a pain in that place.

Unfortunately, there isn't any kind of mod loader, except Irony Mod Manager, but it only lets you sort your mods, which you can already do in the Paradox Launcher, even if in a clunky way.

Don't believe anyone who tells you to uncheck mods marked with a yellow triangle, because while it says the mod isn't updated for the latest game patch, many modders don't update the compatibility file even though the mod itself might still work.

Unfortunately, mods' pages nor comments don't always show the load order. Sometimes it's even hard to tell if the mod is broken or not, lol.

start by turning them all off an slowly activating.
Check incompatibilities.

Also, you can delete the mod folder in your documents paradox interactive folder for ck3.
Sometimes fragments of descriptors and such get stuck in there.

Ja, if you try and install 80 at once I don't think your game will ever load. His will load, and at 16 you can probably work through a load order.

I didn't review his for him either. That's on the modder. I wished, and still wish, both of you luck.

I did warn him in advance about the amount even. :)

If you're not going to screen them by reading them and adding them one at a time it is just mathematics. 1X2X3X4... for however many you have if you are just going to swap them around.

I will say make sure its crashing from the mods as opposed to a memory issue. My experience if its a crash report generated then its probably a mod but if you go straight to desktop from a loading screen its likely a memory issue. I have multiple drives on my PC one that is fairly large with a lot of space that I have my steam apps on, and the other is where my OS is located which is usually full routinely having under 5gbs of space. Following advice from another forum I deleted files on my OS drive to over get 10gbs minimum and havent had a crash since even with 40 mods.
