Grand Rite nobody joins
Im wondering why this is? i have multiple children as witches, both secret and revealed and i unlocked the coven already, only 1 house in the dynasty. But still every now and then I get this issue pop up and i dont know why it is. I even convert non dynasts, like my priest and spy. What gives?

IF everybody is already at an event, in isolation, or travelling to or from a different event, serving as a regent, mustered as a knight, or otherwise busy they will not attend even if you ask.

They also will usually not come if you are hosting it in a plague location or if they have to travel through a plague location to get there. The travelling through plague lands is iffy though - I've seen them do it even after they're supposed to be better about AI pathfinding.

I have also seen my initial count for guests be zero - and then later change as the date gets closer - like the people in my own court hold off until the last minute to accept the invitation and the timeframe was set to allow people from halfway across the map to reach the event (who decline or couldn't attend for one of those reasons).

only one was a regent, i had at least half a dozen witches in my court alone so that shouldnt have been an issue. the guest list just shows nobody will be invited. then when the event kicks off i just get the dialogue nobody showed up and the cooldown begins before another coven meeting

Ive had hunts end before they even get started. The "why wouldnt anyone show up?" message. If you host a hunt as Hasteinn at game start you most likely get that message as all his French courtiers have a low Approval of him.

Hows your Approval rating within the Coven? In your Secrets tab it will show you all who have the Witch secret. Have you tried manually inviting each one, one at a time? Had guest lists that were at zero until i went to Courtiers tab and manually invited all of 'em.
100 opinion with pretty much everyone. im an old patriarch of the fam. i didnt know u could invite manually for this event, will try it next time

Have your witches educating all the kids. Convert your Dynasty, Priest and all high learning ppl. & have them educating kids.

Grant Duchys to Dynasty witches only. Soon you will be getting invited to Rites and as Dyn/House head you'll be Guest of Honour.

Also, the spouse of your Dyn member you Grant land to will be an educator, so Convert them, too. The parents tutor the kids and the Coven perpetuates for centuries.

Absolutely. If your religion is not actively hostile to or shunning witches, they take off like a religious sect of their own once you get a coven started. The difficulty is getting one started, not 'keeping the ball rolling'. Not certain how the education in witchery threads, but concubines, other family members, and other people you have directly added to a coven seem to be able to create additional members by conversion, event, and education.

Just a random idea, but you didn't drop below the requirements for a coven by death(s) or heir change did you?

Okay, that didn't change, but your designated heir and at least 4 living adult children are still all witches?

Yes. Out of my remaining 10 children ll but one are witches. In the last few years I was able to grand rite but only with a guest and my eldest son. The rest didn't show nor are busy. Courtiers mostly not traveling

Potential Grand Rite Fix.

Hey, my fix was to personally out a witch that I knew of.

I think from now on I'm going to always expose my hairs as witches, then make sure to convert at least a few witches as THAT SPECIFIC new heir.

That seems to fix the issue for me
