Development and building
I'm starting to learn more about the aspect of taxes and development and building upgrades. checked a few video guides so I'm getting an understanding of it, but it's complicated xD. But there are a few things I am unsure.

Context: Im playing Matilda and I currently hold 3 duchies.

If I have a county that is ruled by my vassal but not within any duchy title (title hasnt been created or Im not the owner of it). And I chose to upgrade a city or add a building, etc. Say I want to build some miliatry building. Will I get the all the benefits for military bonuses? I understand that taxes work as a %, so I'm not asking about that.
So technically I should rather focus on cash income within my own duchies and land held by myself and on military upgrades on land that gives me least income. Such as counties held by my vassals outside a duchy. Is that correct?

Build only in the land you manage directly.

First build buildings that give the most gold (wheat fields, manor houses later wind mills and water wheels etc.)

Look what military buildings provide MAA bonus and PLAN what MAA stack you decide to station in what barony (example if you put heavy soldiers station to barony build barracks and blacksmiths addition to your gold generating buildings)

Build only special buildings to your vassals (universities, gold silver mines, cathedrals). Only build when you have gold to spare.

Your own land is priority uno majority of your gold comes from your own domain, second from theocratic vassals (your realm priest) and least from your vassals taxes.

In my current Emperor of Italy (only holding Italy, Romagna, Sardiania and Sicily) with 12 domain of my own control i make about 850 gold/month by just building economy buildings in every domain that i own.

And development increases taxes and levies your domain generates so steward should ALWAYS increase development in your domain non stop. (if you are feudal or clan, tribal does not get development bonus until turns to feudal).

Thx, I think I start to understand it now. So I guess if I want to have a Kingdom title, I should beforehand decide on which two Duchy I want to have as my main ones (and preferably larges ones) and focus to upgrading them? I say 2 since you get opinion penalty for having more as a king.
