Stupid Question about the "Dynasty armor"
I have a stupid question but please don't be mad.

When designing a new dynasty in the editor at the begining of the game you can design coat of arms for your landed title and the dynasty.

When is the dynasty even used? The troops I hired always used the first landed title until I became a duke or king and the troops use now the preprogrammed armor.
Just a curiousity because the dynasty troops would have looked cool colorwise.

The coat of arms for your dynasty appears on your character/popup window, on each member of your dynasty's window, when you open the dynasty tree (of course) and will on items (banners/shields) in your royal court. If you create a dynasty slogan it will occasionally get inserted into the written text mix in event texts or inscribed on court/personal items via event.

Not sure how much of that is base game versus Royal Court DLC.

You can change title Heraldry for things to match Dynasty Heraldry in game, if you want, as well as to rename titles to whatever you would like them to be. Click on the little quill after them and follow the prompts.

I change titles a LOT. Especially with culture changes and mods they can be completely different than the counties/areas they cover on the map and, with popup text alerts in new areas, it can take me a minute to figure out where I am looking at with the mismatch. :)

It depends on who is leading the army. Try it out, YOU lead the army or have no one lead the army, etc.
