300 gold ransom only pays 30?

Am I the only one haveing this problem? Prisoner ransom of 300 gold only gives me 30?
Any other amount than the 300 pays the correct

Make sure they have enough gold to pay it.

They do. I've been through maybe 20 prisoners who has the money, and they all just paid 30.

Must be a bug yay, cos im getting same only 30 gold when 300 is offered:(

along with dispirate tribes bug my current game has been ruined:(

Here's the daily thread about the golden obligations bug.

If you have the perk Golden Obligations, the ransom prisoner dialog will show you the money they'd pay for a hook but only pay you the amount for the normal ransom. To get around it, ransom for a hook then sell the hook. You'll get the indicated amount.

I've seen multiple discussions on reddit about it now, so yeah probably a bug

If you have the perk to ask a payment from hooks, always ransom for hooks instead, you're guaranted to have the most gold from it.
