Stay Norse or Become Greek in 867?

I came down to Sicily, aiming to make Asatru Rome. Should I stay Norse? Greeks have more Innovations and I can maybe conquer Scandinavia for the Norse special tech, but I'm allied to the King there atm.

well if you change to greek you will lose the longships, I would recommend working on culture converting at least some land and getting your vassals to be norse. Converting to greek offers few bonuses and early game if you are tribal pillaging and raiding is your life blood.
