With each save I deleted, the game actually got more responsive lmao. Every delete was faster than the previous.
If youre getting bothered by the time it takes for the game to load the save list (Which takes way longer than it should to simply load a list of file names) you can probably just move them to a different directory until you want to actually use them. Thats what I usually do with games that have inexplicably long load times for a simple list of save game files.
