Royal Edition question
Hello. Can anybody tell me exactly what comes in the Royal edition? I find different answers to this depending where online I look. One place I found said it includes Tours and Tournaments as well as the Royal Court. It also said the Northern Lords and the Iberia expansion, and Legacy of Persia, Wards and Wardens, Abbasid fashion, Elegance of Empire, and Friends and Foes are included. This is more content for it than any other result I found - is all this really included? If so, it sounds superior to the Starter Edition sold on Steam.

Thank you.

There isn't a Royal Edition anymore. The Starter Edition took its place and includes the base game, Friends & Foes, and Tours and Tournaments, as well as the 3 cosmetic clothing packs available only through bundles like this.

Royal Edition, when it was available, included the base game, Northern Lords, Royal Court, and Fate of Iberia, as well as 1 of the clothing packs (forget which one specifically). It was basically "Chapter 1" before they started offering the Chapter themed bundles and included those first 3 DLCs.

think it basically came with Chapter 1 DLC....

Interesting, I didn't even know PDX directly sold them on their site. But yeah, it looks like it lists all included items

Thanks for the responses. The Royal edition is still available on a certain website.

TBH, I am pissed that the Royal edition costs $10 more and doesn't include Tours and Tournaments. I don't care about the flavor packs.

The Royal Edition also included Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia, which the Starter Edition doesn't.

Northern Lords is pretty good, but I never play in Iberia, so it's not that fun. :cozycsgoctwhite:
