How long before landed children marry on their own?
I landed my heir at 22, and he's coming up on 32 now but I'm not ready to get him married yet. How long do I have before he is no longer restricted from marrying on his own? For some reason I thought it was 6 or 8 years but I'm coming up on 10 now. There is a limit right?

If your his liege you have to approve any marriages for him unless: 1. You check a box that allows him to marry on his own. 2. He's been ruling his own land for 10 years. After 10 years of holding land he can marry on his own. Hope that answers your question.
The marriage system has been a lil buggy lately. I do think you should be able to recommend a marriage to anyone within diplomatic range, doesn't mean they'd accept it. If you are in a culture/religion that has few people, the game should generate some minor nobles and lowborn for availability purposes.

i think quite buggy, my dynasty vassal doesn't marry much and i have to kidnap noble girl to marry them instead. i think it is due to low legitimacy vassal and no noble want to marry them.

The Marriage AI is currently not working, so the AI will currently let their Dynasty die out, instead of marrying another Character.

Even in CK2, the AI has arranged Marriages for every Dynasty Member and themself in a short Period of Time, but in CK3, they wait too long.
I can end entire Dynasties, by castrating their male Members, because the AI in CK3 refuse to arrange a Marriage for them.

The only Characters, who are married in my Campaigns, are Characters in my Realm, because I arrange Marriages for them.

How old is the Wet Nurse and how old is your Son?

Because it still happens for me, that the AI arranges Marriages with way too old Womens, for young Boys.
(Fun Fact: This are indeed, the only Marriages, I see, the AI to arrange, but it is a very low Fertility Marriage).

But there is an Event which will make the AI divorce their Spouse, when the Spouse, where their Wet Nurse or have had the same Wet Nurse.
