I am glad it helped you.
Even thou lowering Portrait Multisampling helps a bit it is still not fully playable as it should if Animated Characters are turned on. (I am not sure if this problems is as well for Windows, cant remember as I switched to Linux 3 months ago)
Currently the only way at least how to play with Vulkan (Native or Proton) is to disable the Animated Characters , this will bring the performance back where it should be.
However the question still remains why there is such a HUGE performance hit when Animated Characters are enabled.

Glad to hear it helped you.
I did as well report this issue as a BUG on CK3 discord if anyone can please give it "AGREE". The mods scrub the BUG section on weekly basis and sent it to Paradox QA.
