~Peasant ally commander overrides your chad commander~

So you lose an easily winnable war.
Delete saved game that was going perfect otherwise out of sheer annoyance.
They ever going to fix this? Couldn't find a current mod that prioritizes the better commander.
Don't care about the whole attacker/defender pedantism, but my army did arrive at my ally roughly same day as enemy army. This AI and commander mechanic is something else.

if your top commander enters the battle 2nd ... he isnt in charge of the battle , its only common sense. If you want your best commander to lead the big battles , make sure he engages in the battle before anyone else .
