heir not available as guest of honor for feasts
No matter what I do my primary heir is no longer available to be hosted as a guest of honor during feasts. I thought it couldve been because of a court position he held but the next generation with a new son I noticed this as well, he doesnt even show up as a guest despite all filters being active and him being in my court. I could have sworn it was possible to do this before, in fact I used to do this as a way to farm him some prestige before he took over. anyone else see this issue?

I am having the same frustration. I don't know if it's intended this way, but I do find it irritating. I'm on my way out, I want to usher in the new error of my dynasty by toasting to my most glorious heir.

Are they your designated regent? Heirs marked as regents can't attend a lot of events since they need to run things while you're at the event.

Is he fighting in a war? Being an active combatant often prevents guests from attending events.

Being involved in an active anything prevents an invitation. If they are traveling or went to an event without you they are 'busy' and will not attend.

Also, if you 'took' them anywhere for an event your party/group often doesn't travel as fast as you do - if you are going to do back to back events you got to let them come home.
