Courtiers can only marry inside court
Whenever i start a created ruler game I cant marry couriers outside my court. Is this intended? I know it didn't use to be this way.

Indeed, it seems that after a certain update, only titles and higher prestige levels have a broader range.

Only way to marry outside of your court is to get really high legitimacy. If your leaders marries a lowborn you will lose legitimacy and never get out of the hole quick enough to marry your courtiers and you will have a barren court.

Did you not read the DevDiaries or Patch Notes at all?

There is an pretty easy solution to farm Legitimacy very quickly, simply attack someone, who has an higher Tier than you and since the AI is very bad with their Armies, the Player should always be able to win.

And by the way, I absolutly hate the second nerf towards Lowborns, it seems, that the Devs does not really care about the Game and do not understand, that the Lowborns are needed as fallback Spouses.
There is even a nice Story about this in the Game Files, why the Game needs Lowborns.

So as a Duke you have to pick fights with Kings for legitimacy?, do you realise how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid that sounds from a game play standpoint.
What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot thought this was a good idea because all it's done is make the game annoying to play, annoying you know the opposite of fun which is what a game should be.

That is just one way to gain legitimacy. I don't play custom rulers and I haven't had any issues marrying my courtiers to import some talent into my realm. Doesn't seem any different. Only played as counts so far on this patch.
