For what you pay you don't get much. I feel the pricing should've been like 50% of the current price at max, probably even lower.
We're talking about DLCs, not a brand new game.
Hopefully there will be a decent sale in the future.. might get it then.
I'm stopping buying new content, even on sales.
as reference, if I didn't already own CK3 and "chapter 2" (which isn't available on its own anymore), you'd have to pay 193 CAD just to get the base game up to chapter 2, before you even consider buying chapter 3... That's kinda disgusting... I didn't even pay that for base + C1 + C2...
While I want to believe that it will feel like two T&Ts this year, I am skeptical since it was given its own class rather than just being another "major expansion."
It seems like they changed direction and are making a whole Thema DLC this year.
So everything ties into one and other, how huge the DLC would be is only up to speculation.
Plague ties into killing off Courtiers and Rulers late game cause people with lesser systems couldn't handle all the courtiers. let alone what comes next landless AI
(But will worry about it later once Legends of Death is released, cause not playable Baronies and defaulting back to count means they are using the old system of landless counts, when it will be better to create a NEW rank between Courtiers and Barons. call it adventurers or something rank, that gives them a new Rank System to work from, without having it tied to count tier system, side bonus makes the baron tier also playable if player character has that underlying rank, but again this is pure speculation)
So basically then comes Road to Power DLC, with the landless system and byzantium improvements and estates. that is the big one.
and then the event pack Wandering Nobles to round out all the landless play with flavor and purpose.
This year all the DLC ties into one and other, like one HUGE expansion. unlike last 2 years.
Maybe that's more worth it when you put it that way? Regardless I'm still gonna wait to see what all the DLC encompasses before dropping the full price of the game (again) on this dlc pack...
