2- When you conquer a land with a different culture, should offer 2 choices and then courtiers below. The 2 choices are a noble from your culture and a noble from their culture.
3- Over time you will get random plus 10% increases. The better your steward, the more likely to occur. If you have a royal court, there are events for hosting a feast that could increase or decrease the acceptance level.
4- 40% takes time. Relax, if you nab it in 1 lifetime you did good. 1% per year is very good work and...well that's 40 years.
5- Just did an egypt run myself, I am not a big fan of greek stuff, its good but theres better. Consider Afar in africa (for Warrior Culture/Strong trait common), Oghuz in middle east and north and so on around there (for Horse Archer (which are insane awesome)
6- You could just marry any one of these, make the kid and have the spouse change their culture AND THEN just promote cultural acceptance on your own lands.

Yeah, I am not in a rush.
The Greek is my first culture as I am trying to make a melting pot of different cultures all together XD.
