Unless you are running a Mac then i have no clue, that's what this latest patch was about.
Ok I'll do all that in order to play this modern game. It was working fine on Sunday and early Monday and now I can't play it.
It's called computer maintenance. If you don't want to keep your comp up to date, maybe think about buying a console.
You basically gave us no info so we can't trouble shoot anything. No DX_Diag, system stats ect..
If you really think it's a game issue, Send your DX_DIAG off to support, and see what they say. They will either give you some instructions or say, Yup it's our game and we will put it in the hopper for a future update.
So you are blaming my gaming laptop for the games lag. I own a ROG Strix 18 which has the following info Intel 13th Gen Core i9 with 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 - 1TB SSD. The game was working fine on Sunday and early Monday. Now it lags and is unplayable. I uninstalled it, re-stalled the drivers, as you suggested and still the game is not working. But yes it's my fault or the my laptops fault.
yes exactly
1. You can check in CK3's in-game settings what graphics card the game is using. It shouldn't be ambiguous.
2. Never, ever, ever use your integrated (CPU) graphics for anything, unless you're trying to save battery power. You should almost always be using your actual graphics card for everything, and should have your settings in the Nvidia Control Panel set as such.
3. Assuming your Nvidia Control Panel is not set up properly, your computer will auto-select whether or not to use your actual graphics card. Thus, if the game is lagging because your computer auto-selected to use integrated graphics, that is obviously not the game's fault.
TL;DR: It's important to know the basics about how your computer works if you want to use it to game. They make consoles for people who don't want to go through that effort.
Thank you for your comment. I'll give all this a try tomorrow.
